: The theatre experience for and by undocumented migrants. As part of the Bérénice project, the Théâtre de Liège set up a theatre workshop involving actors, students and some members of the Voix des sans papiers de Liège (VSP). The VSP is a collective of undocumented migrants that mobilise to claim the residence rights of individuals, to promote intercultural encounters and to fight prejudices and racism. The audio-visual creation resulting from this workshop consists of the editing of part of the material collected by some of the participants, with the aim of objectifying the artistic process. The visual tool was not imposed by the organisers but emerged spontaneously as a means of active participation. Through this creation, we present some issues related to migration through giving back body and voice to the migrants themselves, through setting up a space of creative expression where the narration of the project and its meaning and mains is done through image and sound.
