The 10th international SIEF congress took place in Lisbon, 17-21 April 2011, with over 900 anthropologists, ethnologists, folklorists and others interested in European culture. The programme included keynotes, 86 parallel panels; an ethnographic film festival; various additional events, including the congress banquet and a book fair. CRIA-Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (Center for Research in Anthropology- Portugal). CRIA is an inter-institutional centre for research in anthropology organized in four locations based on Portuguese universities (ISCTE, FCSH-UNL, FCT-UC, UM). The centre hosts a team of 60 PhD researchers. CRIA will be assisted by the nomadic team of professional conference organizers, and membership administrators, NomadIT.
